Account deletion
Email us from the account address
Write to info@lingus.app with the subject “Delete my Lingus account”. This helps confirm which account the request belongs to.

- Send the request from the email address linked to the account.
- State that you want the account and all related data deleted.
- If Apple Hide My Email was used, include the Apple relay address shown in account settings.
- Wait for identity confirmation and completion details from support.
Do not send a password, one-time code, token or identity document unless support explains a secure verification method.
Data that is deleted
- profile and Lingus sign-in methods
- submitted words, phrases, texts and source context
- confirmed meanings, corrections and learning settings
- exercise history and memory states
- notification settings and device links
Limited retention
Minimal records may temporarily remain in protected backups, security logs or where retention is required by law. They are not used for continued personalised learning and are deleted or anonymised under the applicable retention cycle.
Delete one source instead
If the whole account does not need to be deleted, choose a source under Profile → Privacy. Before confirmation, Lingus shows the related learning data that will be removed with it.
